CORONAVIRUS: BRITISH MAN DIES FROM THE VIRUS IN LAGOS, NIGERIA

The Lagos state government has disclosed that a 66-year-old Briton has died of the coronavirus in the state.
Professor Akin Abayomi, the Lagos state commissioner for health, made the disclosure on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, April 8.
He said the deceased, a man, had traveled from India via Dubai to Lagos on March 17.
Professor Akin Abayomi said the number of discharged patients in the state has increased to 32
The commissioner also said the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus had increased to 130 in the state.
It was reported earlier that the Lagos state government announced that it has discharged another patient who has fully recovered from the coronavirus infection.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who made the disclosure in a tweet on Tuesday, April 7, said the patient, a female, was discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba.
