CORONAVIRUS: 5 NIGERIANS TEST POSITIVE IN CHINA AFTER VISITING A RESTUARANT RAN BY A CHINESE WHO ALSO TESTED POSITIVE

The Guangzhou health commission in China has said that not less than five Nigerians have been diagnosed with coronavirus after they visited “Emma Food”, an eatery in the Asian country.
The Emma Food restaurant has been closed for inspection. Other restaurants in the district have been forced to shut down for 14 days, Chinese media report. People wearing masks walk on the street in African Village in Guangzhou of southern China yesterday 

The owner of the eatery, Zhuang, was quarantined on Wednesday, April 1, after testing positive for the virus.
The international online newspaper has it that the Nigerians with the disease were detected between March 28 and March 30. 
Guangzhou authorities detected five Nigerian citizens with infections between March 28 and March 30, after screening 3,779 travellers from high-risk countries living in the city. People wearing face masks walk on the street in African Village in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province

Zhuang's eight-year-old daughter alongside her friend also tested for the virus, a development which has triggered serious fears and concerns among residents who had earlier patronised the restaurant.
