The embattled erstwhile National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki yesterday suffered yet another huge loss when he lost his father Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki, Monday evening at a Hospital in Abuja.
Pa Dasuki, a former Sultan of Sokoto, died at the age of 93.
Dasuki will buried on Tuesday November 15, 2016 after the 2.00pm afternoon prayers at at Hubbaren Shehu Usman Dan Fodio Site in Sokoto State.

Late Sultan Dasuki
The late Sultan Dasuki,  father of ex-National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, was deposed in 1996 by the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, after he was installed by Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, in 1988.  He was on the throne for eight years before his deposition and banishment to Zing, in Taraba State.
Dasuki was the first Sultan from the Buhari line of the House of Dan Fodio. He was a close associate of Ahmadu Bello and held the traditional title of Baraden Sokoto before becoming Sultan.

The ex-NSA, Sambo Dasuki has been detained by the Federal Government since December 1, 2015 in spite of the bails granted him by three different High Courts in Abuja.
The ECOWAS Court had also ordered his release.
It is not clear whether the government would temporarily permit Dasuki to pay his father the last respect during the burial.
