THOUSANDS OF GAY MEN PARDONED IN THE UK FOR PAST CONVICTIONS

ALAN TURING
Thousands of gay and bisexual men found guilty of decades-old sexual offences in England and Wales have been posthumously pardoned.
The enactment by the government of the so-called Alan Turing law means about 49,000 men will be cleared of crimes of which they would be innocent today.
Wartime code-breaker Mr Turing was pardoned in 2013 for gross indecency.
Statutory pardons will also be granted to people still living who apply to have their convictions removed.
The pardons were first announced last year and have now been officially rubber-stamped after the Policing and Crime Bill received Royal Assent.
The men were found guilty of committing now-abolished offences while in consensual relationships.
Relatives of Alan Turing presented a petition to Number 10 in 2015 calling for pardons for men convicted under historical indecency laws
Justice minister Sam Gyimah said it was a "truly momentous day".
He said: "We can never undo the hurt caused, but we have apologised and taken action to right these wrongs."
Mathematician Mr Turing was given a royal pardon in 2013, nearly 60 years after his suicide in 1954.
The pardon addressed his 1952 conviction for gross indecency, after which he was chemically castrated.
This followed an official apology by former Prime Minister Gordon Brown in 2009 for how Mr Turing had been treated.
His relatives later mounted a high-profile campaign to secure pardons for other men similarly convicted under historical indecency laws.
Gay rights charity Stonewall said: "Another important milestone of equality has been secured in law.
"The more equality is enshrined into our law books, the stronger our equality becomes, and the stronger we as a community become."

TRUMP SACKS U.S. ACTING ATTORNEY-GENERAL FOR "BETRAYAL" OVER HER DEFIANCE OF THE NEW TRAVEL BAN ORDER ON SEVEN MUSLIM COUNTRIES

SALLY YATES

U.S. President Donald Trump fired top federal government lawyer Sally Yates on Monday after she took the extraordinarily rare step of defying the White House and refused to defend new travel restrictions targeting seven Muslim-majority nations.
It was another dramatic twist in the unusually raucous roll-out of Trump's directive that put a 120-day hold on allowing refugees into the country, an indefinite ban on refugees from Syria and a 90-day bar on citizens from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
The Friday night ban prompted protests and chaos at airports on the weekend as customs officials struggled to put the order into practise, and the fallout spread to U.S. markets on Monday, where stocks suffered their biggest drop of 2017 and companies affected by the change spoke out against it.
Yates said late on Monday that the Justice Department would not defend the order against court challenges, saying that she did not believe it would be "consistent with this institution's solemn obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right."Hours later, she was fired. The White House said Yates "has betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States" and portrayed her actions as political.
Trump has argued tougher vetting of immigrants is needed to protect America from terror attacks but critics complain that his order unfairly singles out Muslims and defiles America's historic reputation as a welcoming place for immigrants.
Yates, an appointee of former Democratic President Barack Obama, was days away from being replaced by Trump's pick for the top spot at the Justice Department, Republican Senator Jeff Sessions, who is awaiting Senate confirmation."Ms. Yates is an Obama Administration appointee who is weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration," the White House said in a statement. The White House said that Dana Boente, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, was sworn in at 9 p.m. ET and would be acting U.S. attorney general until Sessions is approved.Boente said in an interview with the Washington Post that he would enforce the immigration order. There have been only a handful of instances in U.S. history of top Justice Department officials publicly breaking with the White House.
The most famous example was in 1973, when then-Attorney General Elliot Richardson and his deputy resigned rather than obey President Richard Nixon's order to fire a special prosecutor investigating the Watergate scandal. The incident, which became known as the "Saturday Night Massacre," was a public relations disaster and is seen as a turning point in Nixon's administration. The drama at the Justice Department is another sign of how hastily Trump's immigration order was developed and how little it was reviewed by the agencies now grappling to implement it.
The White House said key government officials were briefed before Trump signed the order on Friday, but there was little coordination or consultation, resulting in confusion. Most State Department officials found out about it from media reports.Officials from the State Department circulated a draft memo of dissent on Monday, saying Trump's move would hurt America's image abroad and inflame anti-American sentiment.White House spokesman Sean Spicer dismissed the memo. "These career bureaucrats have a problem with it? I think that they should either get with the program or they can go," he told reporters at his daily briefing.
An internal Department of Homeland Security document seen by Reuters showed 348 visa holders were kept from boarding U.S.-bound flights this week, and more than 200 people came to the United States but were denied entry.More than 735 people were pulled aside for questioning by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at airports, including 394 green card holders, who are legal permanent residents of the United States, the document said.
Trump's administration is granting waivers from the refugee ban to allow 872 people into the country this week - refugees that had already been cleared for resettlement in the United States and were in transit when the order came out.Tens of thousands of people protested Trump's order in major American cities and at airports on the weekend.Obama took the rare step of weighing in, saying through a spokesman that he was heartened by the political activism on the issue.
Employees of Alphabet Inc's Google in San Francisco, Mountain View, Seattle and other cities held protests. Backed by a sign that said "We are a nation of immigrants," Sergei Brin, president of Alphabet, said he was outraged by the order."The U.S. had the courage to take me and my family in as refugees," he said in a YouTube video of his remarks.Federal judges blocked deportation of those detained under the order through the weekend, and more lawsuits were filed on Monday. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, the country's biggest Muslim advocacy group, filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of more than 20 people.Washington state filed a lawsuit, arguing that Trump's order violates the equal protection clause and the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Several other Democratic state attorneys general have said they are considering legal action."It is an insult and a danger to all of the people of the state of Washington, of all faiths," Washington state Governor Jay Inslee, a Democrat, told reporters.
Amazon.com Inc and Expedia Inc, both of which are based in Washington state's Seattle area, are supporting the state's suit.Amazon scrapped a business trip for a senior company lawyer who was born in Libya but has UK citizenship, according to a declaration filed in support of the lawsuit. Forty-nine of its employees were born in one of the banned countries, and seven new hires may need to be placed in offices outside the United States, it said.A declaration from Expedia said the order could impact the travel itineraries of at least 1,000 customers, costing it refunds as well as expenses to monitor how the order is applied and who exactly is affected.
The U.S. technology industry, a major employer of foreign workers, has been the most vocal corporate opponent to Trump's order. A group of top companies plans to meet on Tuesday to discuss how best to support legal challenges.

STRONGLY WORDED OPEN LETTER FROM FORMER PHILADELPHIA MAYOR TO PRESIDENT TRUMP

MICHAEL NUTTER

Dear President Trump, We know what you're doing, we know why you're doing it, and we will not tolerate it or normalize it.

You have mistakenly allowed yourself to think, and convinced your White House team of true believers, that Americans will adjust themselves to accept and conform to your bizarre behavior, your obsession with your greatness, your need to always be "right" no matter what you say, your ability to lie about or deny what you've said or not said even in the face of audio and/or video proof, your continued floating of conspiracy theories without presenting evidence, your abusive and aggressive tweeting AT people which sets your Twitter-troller followers into a frenzy to attack your critics.

We see all of these purposely hurtful, distracting and egomaniacal tactics for what they are -- publicly available literature would indicate that you may apparently be displaying signs of malignant narcissism and narcissistic leadership .
You will NOT be successful in trying to convince Americans, or any other world leaders for that matter, that somehow there is something "wrong" with the rest of us because we don't see the world through your warped prism of "win/lose," biggest, best-ever, largest, greatest, incredible, fantastic, first, only ever and "no one can do it like me."
You expose your insecurities and embarrass yourself when you speak in this manner, and your behavior forces many people to examine you in an unflattering light. Your words and actions appear to be classic "projection" on your part, revealing the following personality traits:
Small, like when you argue about the size of your hands.
Petty, like your public humiliation of Mitt Romney.
Insecure, like how you take people around with you to clap and cheer for you.
Obsessed, like disrespectfully talking about inaugural crowd size at the CIA Memorial Wall.
Deceptive, like directing Sean Spicer to report false information or allowing Kellyanne Conway to use the term "alternative facts" to explain falsehoods, as if we're living in the society of 1984's Oceania.
Devoid of empathy, like your inability to seemingly understand the pain and anger you have inflicted by your words and actions on women, Muslims, Mexicans, African-Americans, disabled individuals, the LGBTQ community and many others.

The lesson many people have drawn from your behavior is that you are employing the technique of gaslighting, defined as manipulating someone "by psychological means into doubting their own sanity."

These traits and character issues are of great concern to many Americans, and now you've apparently decided to start attacking mayors as well.

You met with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on December 7, 2016, at Trump Tower while you were President-elect, but now as President, you negatively and nastily tweet at him about serious public issues.

Did you somehow lose his phone number, and now can only communicate by tweeting AT him, rather than talking TO him? You may find this surprising, but that Twitter machine that is apparently surgically attached to your hand also has a number of other fascinating features -- it really is a PHONE that you can TALK to people with and communicate that way as well.
If you actually talked to Mayor Emanuel, you would know that there really IS a legitimate and proper role for the "feds" to play in helping Chicago deal with crime and public safety issues. For that to happen, rather than tweeting a threat that you are apparently considering invading the great City of Chicago, you could send your team to ask the mayor directly what his needs are and how could your administration best provide assistance and support.
After coordinating a plan between your administration and the Emanuel administration, you could then travel to Chicago and talk about the great work that you're doing to help the city. See, isn't that a great way to show leadership?
This is how real government leaders work -- we meet, we talk, we plan and then, we take action, together. The cities of America are what make America great, and having a partnership between the great cities of America and the federal government will be a key to the success of your administration. We should all be partners, not adversaries, in our mutual commitment to serve our constituents.

As a new person to public service, you would benefit greatly from listening to, watching and learning from these city leaders who are on the front lines of public safety, education, immigration, job creation, civil and human rights protection and government leadership.
Mayors will not be bullied or intimidated by you or your team on Twitter or by other means. Mayors are chief executive officers of their cities, and cities represent the engines of innovation, opportunity, economic development and progress.
Mr. President, try this strategy for a week -- less tweeting at or about people, more talking directly to and with real people about real issues that actually matter to most Americans.
Please resist the almost uncontrollable urge you have to publicly rant about whatever obsessions are rattling around in your own mind about yourself, your self-image or your self-importance. Your diehard followers still adore you, the election is over, you won and now it is your turn, whether some like it or not, to sit in the White House as the 45th President of the United States of America. It's now time for you to govern on behalf of the entire 325 million of us in America, and reassure the rest of the world that the gaslight period has ended.
The campaign is over. It's time to govern for ALL America.

BOY, 14, MILKS $28K FROM TEACHER TO KEEP QUIET ABOUT HER "SEXCAPADES" WITH HIM!

THAO DOAN

A middle school teacher in Texas paid a former student nearly $28,000 to keep their sexual relationship secret — and was arrested after the teen’s mother found out about their romps, court documents show.
Thao “Sandy” Doan, a teacher at Raul Quintanilla Sr. Middle School in Dallas, was arrested last week and faces a sexual assault charge in connection to the alleged relationship with the 14-year-old boy, the Dallas Morning News reported, citing Doan’s arrest warrant affidavit filed by the Dallas ISD Police Department.
The boy’s mother told investigators earlier this month that he was receiving “large amounts of money” that he was using for “illegal purposes,” which created problems at home, according to the affidavit.
The boy’s mother told administrators the payments needed to stop and provided investigators with screenshots of messages showing that her son asked for money.
“… watch ima start getting the pics and everything ready … to show the cops right I anit [sic] playing,” one message read.
Dallas ISD Police Department spokeswoman Robyn Harris said Doan, 27, was placed on administrative leave on Jan. 10. She had been employed with the district since 2014, Harris told The Post in a brief telephone interview Wednesday. She declined to elaborate on whether Doan had any previous disciplinary issues or infractions, citing privacy concerns.
Doan, according to the school’s website, worked as a coach for the cross-country and soccer teams. Attempts to reach her were unsuccessful and it wasn’t clear if she had hired an attorney.
Doan admitted to the police, according to the arrest affidavit, that she communicated with the boy via text messages, Instagram and Kik before they had sex at a park in the summer of 2015. They also had sex later that year between November and December — and again in December 2016, she told police.
Doan, who was arrested Friday, was released from jail after posting bail, the Dallas Morning News reported.
The boy’s mother told KDFW that she saw her son’s behavior change dramatically around the time he allegedly started the fling with his teacher.
“At times, he started getting into drugs, drinking, leaving the house. And he would probably get money and just leave the whole weekend,” the boy’s mother said. “I wouldn’t hear from him. I’d be out looking for him.”
Doan confirmed to authorities in a search warrant affidavit that the boy received an image of her exposing her breasts. The two also engaged in explicit texting, KDFW reports.
“She did very bad. She did bad,” she said. “And I’m not condoning what he did because I know he was wrong at what he also did because blackmailing is not acceptable.”
The most recent payment to the boy, now 15, was $1,500, according to his mother, which was sent one day before she reported the messages to school officials.
“I mean this is very hurtful because he’s a victim here, and he was the child,” she continued. “He is the child. He’s still a child. But it hurts me because I’ve been through a lot with him.”
She told KDFW that her son had been previously arrested on unrelated burglary and robbery charges.

ONE OF THE VICTIMS OF A LAWYER CONVICTED OF HYPNOTIZING HIS CLIENTS TO SEXUALLY ABUSE THEM SPEAKS OUT

MICHAEL FINE

One victim of an Ohio divorce attorney who was convicted in 2014 of hypnotizing and then molesting his clients spoke out in an interview with "Good Morning America" that aired today.
"He ruined a lot of peoples' lives," the woman, who wished to be identified only by her first name, Melissia, said. "He ruined a lot of self-worth that some of us had. It’s gone."
Melissia's interview comes as authorities released shocking, under-cover video that captures Michael Fine, 59, as he attempts to hypnotize and take advantage of another female client.
FINE IN COURT

Fine was arrested after local authorities sent hidden cameras into Fine's office with one of his clients as part of a sting operation. The client had told police that her clothing was often disheveled after her appointments with Fine, and she was suffering memory loss. In the video, the attorney can be seen putting a woman into a trance without her consent by saying it is just a "breathing exercise."
"Your entire body is a vessel of pleasure and arousal and excitement and the better it feels the tighter you'll grip my hand," Fine says in the footage, and then proceeds to ask the client "when was the last time you made love?"
When his victim snaps out of her trance, Fine acts as if nothing ever happened, saying "OK, so we have some papers to go over," at which point police burst into the room and arrested Fine. He is now serving a 12-year prison sentence for hypnotizing six female clients, after he pleaded guilty to five counts of kidnapping and one count of attempted kidnapping. Fine also faces six civil lawsuits.

Melissia said witnessing the video of another one of Fine's victim's was painful.
"Seeing that video made me so so sick. It made me so angry, and panicky-feeling too," Melissia said. "I couldn't sleep after I saw the video."
Melissia said she first hired Fine as an attorney in April 2014, and she said that she paid him $17,000.
Melissia added that Fine would say he wanted to help her "relax."
"He didn't call it hypnosis," Melissia said. "He called it mindfulness."
Melissia added that the incident has changed her life in many ways.
"I will not be in a room with anybody by myself," Melissia said. "No shutting doors, I don't care who you are."
Attorney Laura Mills, who is representing Melissia in her civil court case against Fine, told "GMA" that they are suing him "so that he is held accountable."
"Clearly now he's in jail, but the actions he committed against Melissia need to be pursued in a civil suit so he can be accountable for expenses," Mills said.
Mills added however, that their "most important message" is "building awareness."
"What women need to understand is this can't happen," Mills said. "Women who experience that should not be embarrassed or ashamed about coming forward and talking to a counselor."

TRAGEDY: PIT BULLS MAUL A CHILD TO DEATH, CRITICALLY INJURES ANOTHER

A pitbull

Two small children were attacked by two pit bulls as they walked to school in Atlanta on Tuesday morning, leaving one of them dead and the other badly injured.
At about 7:30 a.m., three children were walking to school when two dogs ran up to them and attacked, according to WSB-TV 2. The station says only two of the children were mauled by the dogs; Logan Braatz, 6, who died, and Syria Sanders, 5, who is in stable condition.

Shamonte Clayton, a neighbor, said he woke to the sound of screams. “I knew it had to be something serious because this is the time the kids go to school,” he told news station WXIA.
A relative of Syria’s, Tamiko Williams, told CBS 46, “When I got down there, the dog at the time was mauling on my great niece and she wasn’t moving or nothing.”
Owner of the dogs Cameron Tucker
Williams said she and a few other adults ran to help with sticks and bats in an attempt to drive the dogs away.
“The dogs was still chasing everybody, there was nothing we could do because they kept coming back, kept coming back,” Williams said.

One dog was shot by police, reports WXIA, while the other was taken into custody. Cameron Tucker, the owner of the dogs, was arrested and charged with two counts of reckless conduct, according to online records.
Logan’s grandfather told CBS 46 that he was still processing the death of his grandson.
“It’s been a terrible loss,” Bryant Braatz said. “Very outgoing, he was the kindest soul you’d ever meet. He’d do anything for any other little kid.”

"IT FEELS GOOD": SERENA WILLIAMS OPENS UP ON HER ENGAGEMENT

SERENA AND ALEXIS

Serena Williams has finally opened up about her engagement to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

The tennis great has kept pretty mum about her relationship with the 33-year-old entrepreneur, and revealed on Monday that she hasn’t given the engagement too much thought.
“It feels good,” she said of the engagement during a post-match press conference after securing a first-round victory in the Australian Open.
“I really haven’t thought about it too much, because I wasn’t even really gonna think about it until after the tournament,” Williams, 35, continued. “So, I just keep saying, ‘February, I’ll start looking at the bigger picture of my life.’ But right now I’m just so focused that this is all I can think about.”
She also gushed about her husband-to-be at the conference.
“He’s incredibly — a really nice person,” she said. “I think he definitely treats everyone the same, which is really cool to see. Really, really nice to see.”
The 22-time Grand Slam champion revealed her engagement to Ohanian last month. Fittingly, she broke the news in a poem — on Reddit.
Ohanian commented on Williams’ Reddit post, writing, “And you made me the happiest man on the planet.”
Williams later subtly unveiled her engagement ring in a (you guessed it) Reddit post, showing herself posing alongside Ohanian. She titled the post: “Engagement shoe game.”
Williams’ older sister, Venus, also gave her stamp of approval, calling Ohanian a “super nice guy.”
“You never know how the things are going to end. In this case, it’s not gonna end. So it’s great,” she said, according to USA Today.
Venus said her younger sister’s decision to marry is just another way Serena paves her own way when it comes to the duo.
“She’s much smarter than I am. She’s a wise woman,” she said. “She’s actually getting a real life. She’s paving the way, once again, for me. Maybe I’ll grow up.”

NIGERIAN FORCES KILL OVER 100 CIVILIANS IN ERROR!

Nigerian Air Force Men

A Nigerian air force fighter jet on a mission against Boko Haram extremists mistakenly bombed a refugee camp on Tuesday, killing more than 100 refugees and aid workers, a Borno state official said.
The state government official, who was helping to coordinate the evacuation of wounded from the remote area by helicopters, spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to reporters.

Military commander Maj. Gen. Lucky Irabor confirmed the accidental bombardment in northeast Rann, near the border with Cameroon, saying "some" civilians were killed.
It was believed to be the first time Nigeria's military has admitted to making such a mistake.

The International Committee for the Red Cross said six staff members and volunteers with the Nigerian Red Cross were among the dead and 13 were wounded. "They were part of a team that had brought in desperately needed food for over 25,000 displaced persons," spokesman Jason Straziuso said in a statement from Nairobi, Kenya.

Two soldiers were also wounded as well as Nigerians working for Doctors Without Borders, Irabor said, without giving a precise figure.

Doctors Without Borders said its team based in Rann had counted 50 bodies and treated 120 wounded. A statement from spokesman Etienne l'Hermitte in Geneva urged authorities to facilitate cross-border land and air evacuations. "Our medical and surgical teams in Cameroon and Chad are ready to treat wounded patients. We are in close contact with our teams, who are in shock following the event," the statement said.

Irabor said he ordered the mission based on information that Boko Haram insurgents were gathering in the area, along with geographic coordinates. It was too early to say if a tactical error was made, he said.
The general, who is the theater commander for counterinsurgency operations in northeast Nigeria, said the air force would not deliberately target civilians but there will be an investigation.
Villagers in the past have reported some civilian casualties in near-daily bombardments in northeastern Nigeria.

The abducted girls

Some of the schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram in 2014 and freed last year have said three of their classmates were killed by air force bombardments, according to the freed girls' parents. Of the nearly 300 schoolgirls who were abducted, 196 remain missing.
The bombings have helped drive Boko Haram out of many towns and villages and, according to Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari, the insurgents' last stronghold in the Sambisa Forest last month.

The terrorists

Boko Haram's 7-year-old Islamic uprising has killed more than 20,000 people and forced 2.6 million from their homes, creating the continent's worst humanitarian crisis, with the United Nations warning some 5.1 million people face starvation.

MUST READ FOR MEN ABOVE 40: PROSTRATE CANCER AWARENESS LECTURE

The topic is misleading. Is prostate strictly for men? Yes, ONLY men have prostate and ONLY men over 40years but the healthcare enlightenment is for everyone. There is no woman who does not know a man 40 years and above. Father, uncle, brother, son, friend, neighbor, colleague ?
Essentially what I will be doing today is health promotion. Responsible health promotion must provide three things:
  1. Information
  2. Reassurance
  3. A plan of action.
Let me start with a background on prostate health.
Everyone has a pair of kidneys. The job of the kidney is to remove waste. It is the LAWMA (Lagos Waste Management Authority) of your body. Everyday your blood passes through the kidney several times to be filtered. As the blood is filtered, urine is formed and stored in a temporary storage tank called the urinary bladder.
If there were to be no urinary bladder, as a man walks on the road, urine will be dropping.
Now think of the plumbing work in your house. Think of the urinary bladder as the overhead storage tank. From the storage tank, a good plumber will run pipes to other parts of the house, including the kitchen. God in His wisdom ran pipes from our urinary bladder to the tip of the penis. The pipe is called the urethra. Just below the bladder and surrounding the urethra is a little organ called the prostate gland.

The prostate gland is the size of a walnut and weighs about 20grams. Its job is to make the seminal fluid which is stored in the seminal vesicle. During sexual intercourse, seminal fluid comes down the urethra and mixes with the sperms produced in the testicles to form the semen. So semen technically is not sperm. It is sperm + seminal fluid. The seminal fluid lubricates the sperm.
After age 40, for reasons that may be hormonal, the prostate gland begins to enlarge. From 20 grams it may grow to almost 100 grams. As it enlarges, it squeezes the urethra and the man begins to notice changes in the way he urinate.
If you have a son under 10, if he has a little mischief like we all did at that age, when he comes out to urinate, he can target the ceiling and the jet will hit target. Call his father to do same, wahala dey. His urine stream is weak, cannot travel a long distance and sometimes may come straight down on his legs. So he may need to stand in awkward position to urinate.
Not many men will be worried their urine stream cannot hit the ceiling. Toilets are on the floor and not on the ceiling. But other symptoms begin to show.
TERMINAL DRIPPLING:
The man begins to notice that after urinating and repacking, urine still drops on his pants. This is the reason why after an older man urinates, he has to ring bell. A younger man simply delivers to the last drop and walks away. Just see an older man coming from the bathroom. Sometimes he may clutch the newspaper closely to hide the urine stains, particularly on plain colored trousers.
HESISTANCY
At this point you wait longer for the urine flow to start. There are 2 valves that must open for you to urinate - the internal and external sphincters. Both open but because of obstructions in the urethra, you wait long for the flow to start.
INCOMPLETE EMPTYING
You have this feeling immediately after urinating that there is still something left.
As all these things happen, the bladder begins to work harder to compensate for the obstruction in the urethra. The frequency of urination goes up. Urgency sets in. sometimes you have to practically run into the toilet. Nocturia also becomes common. You wake up more than 2 times at night to urinate. Your wife begins to complain.
Men being men may not talk to anyone even at this point. Then the more serious complications start.
Stored urine gets infected and there may be burning sensation when urinating.
Stored urine forms crystals. Crystals come together to form stone either in the bladder or in the kidney. Stones may block the urethra.
Chronic urinary retention sets in. The bladder stores more and more urine. The size of the bladder is 40 - 60 cl. A bottle of coke is 50cl. As the bladder stores more urine it can enlarge up to 300cl. An overfilled bladder may leak and this leads to wetting / urinary incontinence. Also the volume may put pressure on the kidney and may lead to kidney damage.
What may likely bring the man to hospital is acute urinary retention. He wakes up one day and he is not able to pass urine.
Everything I have described above is associated with prostate enlargement, technically called benign prostate hyperplasia.

There are other diseases of the prostate like:
  1. Prostatitis : inflammation of the prostate
  2. Prostate cancer : cancer of the prostate.
This discussion is on prostate enlargement.
I have bad news and good news.
The bad news is that everyman will have prostate enlargement if he lives long enough.
The good news is that there are life style changes that can help the man after 40 to maintain optimum prostate health.
Nutrition
Look at what you eat. 33% of all cancers, according to the US National Cancer Institute is related to what we eat.
Red meat everyday triples your chances of prostate disease. Milk everyday doubles your risk. Not taking fruits / vegetables daily quadruples your risk.
Tomatoes are very good for men. If that is the only thing your wife can present in the evening, eat it with joy. It has loads of lycopene. Lycopene is the most potent natural antioxidant.
Foods that are rich in zinc are also good for men. We recommend pumpkin seeds (ugbogulu).
Zinc is about the most essential element for male sexuality and fertility.
Men need more zinc than women. Every time a man ejaculates he loses 15mg of zinc. Zinc is also important for alcohol metabolism. Your liver needs zinc to metabolize alcohol.
ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
As men begin to have urinary symptoms associated with prostate enlargement, it is important they look at alcohol consumption. More fluid in means more fluid out.
Drink less. Drink slowly.
EXERCISE
Exercise helps build the muscle tone. Every man should exercise. Men over 40 should avoid high impact exercise like jogging. It puts pressure on the knees. Cycling is bad news for the prostate. We recommend brisk walking.
SITTING
When we sit, two-third of our weight rests on the pelvic bones. Men who sit longer are more prone to prostate symptoms. Do not sit for long hours. Walk around as often as you can. Sit on comfortable chairs. We recommend a divided saddle chair if you must sit long hours.
DRESSING
Men should avoid tight underwear. It impacts circulation around the groin and heats it up a bit. While the physiological temperature is 37 degrees, the groin has an optimal temperature of about 33 degrees. Pant is a no - no for men. Wear boxers. Wear breathable clothing.
SMOKING
Avoid smoking. It affects blood vessels and impact circulation around the groin.
SEX
Regular sex is good for the prostate.
Celibates are more prone to prostate illness. While celibacy is a moral decision, it is not a biological adaptation. Your prostate gland is designed to empty its contents regularly.

NIGERIAN MEN IN USA WHO KILLED THEIR "IMPORTED WIVES" FROM NIGERIA

Not every man can take the disappointing and humiliation from Nigerian wives "imported" to America. Wives killers on rampage in the US
An Epidemic: Nigerian Men Killing Their Nurse Wives In America "Yes, I have killed the woman that messed up my life; the woman that has destroyed me. I am at Shalom West. My name is David and I am all yours. Those were David Ochola's words during his 911 call to authorities after shooting dead, his 28 years old wife, Priscilla Ochola, in Hennepin, Minnesota.

The 50-years old, husband was tired of being disrespected by his wife, a Registered Nurse (RN) whom he had brought from Nigeria and sponsored through nursing school only to have her make much more than him in salary - a situation which led to Mrs. Ochola coming and going as she chose without regard for her husband.?
The couple had two children ? four years old boy and a three year old girl.
In Texas, Babajide Okeowo had been separated from his wife, Funke Okeowo, with whom he resided at their Dallas home. Upon the divorce, the husband lost the house to his wife, along with most of the contents therein, as is usually the tradition in the U.S. Divorces where the couple still has underage children.
Mr. Okeowo, 48, divorced his wife because not long after she became an RN and made more money than him, she took control of the family finances and controlled her husband's expenditure and movement.
The husband could no longer make any meaningful contribution to his family back in Nigeria unless the wife approved it. He could not go out without her permission. Frustrated that his formerly malleable wife had suddenly become such a ?terror? to him to the point of asking for in court and getting virtually everything for which he had worked since coming to the US thirty years prior, the husband got in his vehicle and drove a few hundred miles to Dallas to settle the scores.
He found her in her SUV, adorned in full Nigerian attire on her way to the birthday bash organized in her honor. She had turned 46 on that day. Mr. Okeowo fired several rounds into his wife's torso while she sat at the steering wheel, mercilessly killing her in broad daylight.

Also in Dallas (they sure need anger management classes in Dallas), Moses Egharevba, 45, did not even bother to get a gun. The husband of Grace Egharevba, 35, bludgeoned her to death with a sledge hammer while their seven year old daughter watched and screamed for peace.
Mrs. Egharevba's sin was that she became an RN and started to make more money than her husband. This led to her financial liberation from a supposedly tight-fisted husband who had not only brought her from Nigeria, but had also funded her nursing school education.
Like Moses Egharevba, Christopher Ndubuisi of Garland, Texas, (these Texas people!) also did not bother to get a gun. He crept into the bedroom where his wife, Christiana, was sleeping and, with several blows of the sledge hammer, crushed her head.
Two years before Christiana was killed, her mother, who had been visiting from Nigeria, was found dead in the bathtub under circumstances believed to be suspicious.
Of course, Christiana was a RN whose income dwarfed that of her husband as soon as she graduated from nursing school. The husband believed that his role as a husband and head of the household had been usurped by his wife.
Mr. Ndubuisi?s several entreaties to his wife?s family to intercede and bring Christiana back under his control had all failed.
If the circumstances surrounding the death of Christiana?s mother were suspicious, those surrounding the death of a Tennessee woman?s mother were not. Agnes Nwodo, an RN, lived in squalor before her husband, Godfrey Nwodo, rescued her and brought her to the US. He enrolled her in nursing school right away. Upon qualifying as a RN, Mrs. Nwodo assumed ?full control? of the household. She brought her mother to live with them against her husband?s wishes. Mrs. Nwodo quickly familiarized herself with US Family Laws and took full advantage of them.
Each time the couple argued, the police forced the husband to leave the house whether he had a place to sleep or not. On many occasions, Mr. Nwodo spent days in police cells. Upon divorcing his wife, Mr. Nwodo lost to his wife, the house he had owned for almost 20 years before he married her.
He also lost custody of their three children to her, with the court awarding him only periodic visitation rights. Even seeing the children during visitation was always a hassle as the wife would ?arrive late at the neutral meeting place and leave early with impunity.?

Mr. Nwodo endured so many embarrassing moments from his wife and her mother until he could take it no more. One day, he bought himself a shotgun and killed both his wife and her mother.
Caleb Onwudike?s wife, Chinyere Onwudike, 36, became a RN and no longer saw the need to be controlled by her husband. Mr. Onwudike, 41, worked two jobs to send his wife to her dream school upon bringing her to the US from Nigeria. After four years, she qualified as an RN. Once she started to make more money than her husband, she began to ?call the shots? at home. She ?overruled? her husband on the size and cost of the house they purchased in Burtonsville, Maryland. She began to build a house solely in her name in their native Umuahia town of Abia State, Nigeria, without her husband?s input whatsoever.
Mrs. Onwudike came and went ?as she liked,? within the US and outside the US. In fact, she once travelled to Nigeria for three weeks ?without her husband?s permission? to lavishly bury her father, despite her husband?s protestations that they had better things to do with the money.
Mrs. Onwudike let her husband know that this was mostly her money and she would spend it however she wanted. Through her hard work, she had risen to a managerial position at the medical center where she worked.
Upon her return from burying her father, her husband got one of her kitchen knives and carved her up like a Thanksgiving turkey inside their home on New Year?s Day.
Death is death, no matter how it comes. But the goriest of these maniacal killings is probably the one that happened in Los Angeles, California.
Joseph Mbu, 50, was tired of his RN wife's serial disrespect of him. The disrespect began as soon as she became a RN. Gloria Mbu, 40, had once told her husband he must be smoking crack cocaine if he thought he could tell her what to do with her money now that she made more money than him.
Before she became a RN, Mr. Mbu had been very strict with family finances and was borderline dictatorial in his dealings with Mrs. Mbu. However, Mrs. Mbu learned the American system and would no longer allow any man to put her down. When Joseph Mbu could not take it anymore, he subdued his wife one day, tied her to his vehicle and dragged her on paved roads until her head split in many pieces.

MUST READ: SEX LOVING ENGLISH COUPLE REVEALS WHAT LONDON'S SAUCY SWINGING PARTIES ARE REALLY LIKE

We have all seen racy depictions of lavish and lusty sex parties in films and on TV, but what are real swingers’ parties actually like?

A British couple have come forward to answer that question, and you won’t believe what goes on behind the closed doors of London’s sex clubs.

Taking to an anonymous confessions forum, the couple revealed what kind of saucy antics go on at swingers’ parties to the Star Online.
John and Tilly used the message board to share their experiences at a five-hour sex party near London’s Heathrow Airport, where they were at it for almost the entire night.
Single women were  allowed to attend the saucy party, but single men are apparently barred from sharing in the fun.

The sex-mad pair told how they shared a single-storey house with 50 other swinging couples, who made use of the swimming pool and Jacuzzis at the X-rated event.
The house also came with a bar area, a lounge full of sofas and, of course, a huge bed for frisky lovers to enjoy.
A converted stable packed with bondage equipment and a fake “jail” area also catered to couples with less vanilla tastes.
One part of the house is a dedicated "dark room", where the lights are turned off and everyone is welcome for no-holds-barred sex.
John, a veteran swinger of seven years, said: "The thing we like about this venue is that if you want you can have sex anywhere that suits you, unlike some other clubs, there are no ‘house rules’ to say this or that area is off limits for sex.”
John and Tilly enjoy inviting new partners to join them in the dark, and share their intimate experiences with a number of other men.
At one point, the couple got down and dirty with a man they had just met.
John said: “I asked him if he wanted to join Tilly and me in a playroom – I was stroking Tilly's back at the time and she literally quivered with anticipation as I said it.
"He replied ‘Yes’ so off we went as a threesome to find somewhere to go and enjoy.

The couple also explain how guests wind down when they are in need of a break: by visiting a cinema which only plays porn.
John added: “We lost total track of time and only stopped when the club owners called around that it was 3 in the morning and time to close up.
“How time flies when you are enjoying yourselves.
“So that was the end of a brilliant night – in total getting on for 5 hours of almost non-stop sex.
"That's why we just love swinging."
Of course, there's more than one kind of swingers party, and the one described by the lusty couple is matched only by a naughty nautical adventure: the swingers' cruise.
Last year we revealed how racy swingers were taking to the high seas to indulge in a sex cruise, which will take racy lovers from Venice to Croatia and Slovenia.
Nightly at-sea events will include fancy undress parties, a ‘Naughty Nautical’ party and a masquerade ball.
While couples on board can wear what they want when they want, sex will not be allowed in the ship’s public spaces.

17 SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO KIM KARDASHIAN WEST'S ROBBERY IN PARIS

KIM'S BODYGUARD PASCAL DUVIER WAS WITH HER SISTERS IN A CLUB WHEN THE ROBBERY HAPPENED

French police have detained 17 people for questioning over the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian West in Paris last October, a spokesman for the Paris prosecutor told CNN.
The group were picked up in Paris as well as the eastern suburbs of Raincy and Vincenne in a police operation that started at 6 a.m. Monday (12 a.m. ET).
A suspect was also detained in Grasse in the Alpes-Maritimes, which is in the south of the country.
Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint inside her hotel room by a gang of men disguised as police officers at a luxury private mansion in Paris who made off with an estimated $10 million in cash and jewelry.
ONE OF THE ROBBERS CAUGHT ON CCTV LEAVING THE CRIME ON A BICYCLE WITH A BAG OF LOOT

According to the prosecutor, those held are between the ages of 23 and 73 and can be held for up to 96 hours for questioning.
In the aftermath of the attack, the French Interior Ministry revealed five men threatened the concierge at the mansion with a weapon, handcuffed him and forced him to open the private apartment.
Two of the men were able to gain entry to Kardashian West's room, according to the Paris prosecutor's office, and a gun was held to her head.
A source familiar with the situation told CNN that Kardashian West pleaded for her life as she was threatened with the gun, and was bound and forced into a bathtub. Tape was placed over mouth.
Kardashian West's two children, North West and Saint West, were in New York at the time, the source said.
The men took two cell phones and jewelry worth millions of dollars, according to the Interior Ministry. But only one of the phones belonged to Kardashian West, the source told CNN.
The prosecutor's office said a ring worth an estimated 4 million euros ($4.5 million) and a jewelry box with contents worth about 5 million euros ($5.6 million) were stolen.
THIS DIAMOND RING WAS AMONG THE STOLEN JEWELLERY

Kardashian West has kept herself out of the spotlight since the robbery, returning to her official Instagram last week for the first time since the attack. She also released a Beyonce-esque family video on her website.
But she looks set to break her silence over the robbery in the new season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," where a promo shows the reality star tearfully recalling the night thieves held her at gunpoint.
"They're going to shoot me in the back," Kardashian West tells her sisters. "There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it."
"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" halted filming for a time after the robbery and Kardashian West has not given any interviews about the incident. She had been in Paris for Fashion Week and E! cameras were not present at the time of the crime.
But based on the clip released Friday, the trauma will feature prominently during the show's next season.
Kardashian West is also seen crying on the phone saying, "Don't scare me, please. What's going on?"
The new season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" debuts on E! in March.
