If reports out in the media that the Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has been docked at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja are true then here comes the real acid test for the Buhari administration to prove its much talked about commitment to rid Nigeria of corruption and all elements of corruption.
This formed the main crust of the Buhari's campaign promises but four months into the life of his administration many have already begin to see no significant moves to fulfil this promise. And now that one of its own (and ''the number three citizen'' at that) has been charged with corruption and corruption related offences, this is the opportunity for the present government to make a mark and leave lasting good impressions.
