AMBODE IN FRESH TROUBLE

Governor Ambode

The problems of the governor of Lagos State, Nigeria Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is far from over. As if losing his bid to fly his party's flag for a second time in the coming general elections was not enough, the Lagos State House of Assembly has resolved to start impeachment process against him for what the house termed "gross misconduct".

Tinubu

Mr. Ambode's political woes came to a head during last year's primaries when he was shocked with a defeat by new comer Mr Babajde Sanwaolu who is favoured by Lagos political god father and former governor, Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Sanwaolu

Ambode's many alleged 'sins' for falling out of favour of not only Mr Tinubu, but the elders and members of the party (All Progressives Alliance APC, Lagos State) include financial high handedness and self enrichment.

His latest travail is predicated upon his failure to present the state's 2019 budget till date.
